Getting started

What is PMKIN?

A content planner and headless CMS where your team and your AI agents take content from idea to published.

PMKIN is where your content goes from "we should write about that" to a live page on your website. You plan it, brief it, write it, review it and publish it in one place. Your teammates and your AI agents work side by side, and your website fetches the published result over an API.

Plan, write, publish#

PMKIN covers the whole trip, in order:

  1. Plan. Collect ideas, give each one a brief, and lay them out on the Board or the Calendar. Group related topics into clusters, so you can see what a topic still needs.
  2. Write. Open a document and write in a clean editor that saves as you type. Format with the toolbar or plain markdown, and drop in images.
  3. Review. Send a draft to review. A teammate approves it, or asks for changes with a note about what to fix.
  4. Publish. Publish right away, or schedule it for later. Your website shows the new version as soon as it's live.
  5. Grow. Connect Google Search Console to see which pages and searches bring readers in, and what to write next.

Tip: Each step is optional. Plenty of people skip straight to writing and hit Publish. That's fine too.

Built for teams, and their agents#

A team is the people you work with. Invite them, and everyone works in the same projects, sees the same plan, and can pick up where someone else left off.

AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can join in over MCP. They claim briefs, write drafts and send them to review, just like a teammate. Every change they make shows who made it, and you can always go back to an earlier version.

A headless CMS for your website#

PMKIN doesn't host your website. Your site asks PMKIN for published documents over the delivery API, and shows them however you like: a blog, a docs site, a changelog or anything else.

Each document keeps two copies of its content:

  • The draft is what you edit.
  • The published version is what your website gets.

So you can keep improving a live post without your readers seeing half-finished sentences. They see the changes when you publish again.

Note: Your website only ever sees published documents and their categories. Briefs, drafts, statuses and history stay inside PMKIN.

Find your way around#

In a project, the sidebar takes you to:

Page What it's for
Home What needs your attention: your unfinished drafts, the review queue, what's due this week, what's scheduled and what agents did lately
Documents Every document in the project
Briefs Every brief, and what each one is about
Clusters Topics and their progress
Board and Calendar The planner, by status or by date
In review Drafts waiting for a reviewer
Search Search Console data for your site
Categories The sections of your website
MCP and API Connections for agents and your website
Settings The project's settings

Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) anywhere to search, jump to a document or start a new one.

Where to next#
