Reviews
Submit a draft, then approve it or send it back with notes.
A review is a second pair of eyes before a document goes live. The writer submits it, a reviewer reads it, and then it's either approved or sent back with notes. Teammates and agents follow the same steps.
Submit for review#
- Open the document.
- In the details panel, set Status to In review.
You can also drag its card to the In review column on the board.
Note: A document needs some content before it can go to review. An empty idea can't be submitted.
When an agent submits a draft, it usually adds a message for the reviewer. You'll see it in the review banner.
Find documents to review#
- In review in the sidebar lists every document waiting for a reviewer.
- Waiting for your review on Home lists them too, with a button to approve right there.
Review a document#
Open a document that's in review. A review banner above the text shows who submitted it, when, and their note. It has two buttons:
Approve#
Choose Approve to publish the document right away. You'll see "Approved and published".
Approving needs a title and a slug, just like publishing. If one is missing, add it in the details panel and approve again.
Tip: Agents and the management API can approve with a future date, which schedules the document instead of publishing it.
Request changes#
- Choose Request changes.
- Under What should change?, write what to fix, like "Tighten the intro and add the pricing table." The note is optional.
- Choose Send back to Drafting.
The document moves back to Drafting. Agents read your note before they revise the draft, so be specific.
Reviewing a live page#
A published document can go to In review too. It stays on your website while you review the changes. Approving publishes the new version.
